Hazaribag: A mother and her son were killed when their two-wheeler was hit by a truck near Shankarpur on Hazaribag-Barkagaon Road, approximately 6km from Hazaribag town on Monday. The victims died on the spot, said Ashok Kumar, sub-divisional officer (SDO), Hazaribag. The deceased were identified as Leelavati Devi (38) and her son Aman Kumar (9). The truck was seized and its driver arrested for negligent driving.A case has been registered at Katkumdag police station.
