Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad City crime branch arrested two individuals, Sameer Ghanchi and Fardeen Pathan, and recovered 18.14 kg of cannabis from them.
Acting on specific intelligence, the cops intercepted the suspects who were transporting cannabis from Surat on a motorcycle. Police said that the source provided details about the vehicle registration and the expected location of their arrival.
Police conducted surveillance near the Barrel Market in Danilimda and successfully intercepted the duo with the cannabis.
According to police, Ghanchi resides near Thakorvas in Danilimda, whilst Pathan lives at Bagh-e-Firdos flat within Barrel Market.
