AR Rahman issues legal notice against YouTubers for crafting falsified stories on his divorce
After 29 years of marriage, music composer AR Rahman and his wife, Saira Banu, recently announced their desire to divorce.

According to reports, YouTubers and other media users were fast to create tales about the news of AR Rahman and his wife, Saira Banu’s divorce as it swept the business. The musician has responded with a warning through legal terms.
The musician’s team tweeted, “Notice to all slanderers from ARR’s Legal Team,” The music director has requested that YouTubers and social media users take down their videos within an hour or, at most, 24 hours. The musician has threatened to bring a criminal defamation action against the violators if they don’t comply, which could result in a fine and/or up to two years in jail.
Rahman tweeted, “We had hoped to reach the grand thirty, but all things, it seems, carry an unseen end. Even the throne of God might tremble at the weight of broken hearts,” conveying his appreciation to everyone and a request for privacy.
Earlier, this statement was posted, Saira Banu’s lawyers wrote, “After many years of marriage, Mrs Saira has made the difficult decision to separate from her husband Mr AR Rahman. This decision comes after significant emotional strain in their relationship.” The tweet also made it apparent that although they still have a great deal of love for one another, there are now conflicts in their relationship.
On the work front, AR Rahman recently made waves on the internet by releasing the first single from the film Kadhalikka Neramillai, which starred Nithya Menen and Jayam Ravi. AR Rahman and vocalist Dhee crooned the lyrics to the funky dance hit Yennai Izhukkuthadi.
