Reason for Sale
Purchasing higher capacity UPS
I am selling my workstation UPS. It was used in a residential environment with a 1 Kva Servo Stabilizer and I recently got it serviced from APC, where they cleaned the inside of the UPS. I am selling it to consolidate all my UPSes into one 3kva unit.

Note that this UPS does not contain any internal batteries and needs 2 x 12V external batteries to operate.
I am not selling the batteries as I need them for my new UPS. You'll need to buy them from a local battery vendor. Ask specifically for UPS VRLA batteries. Car batteries won't work. I got approx 2 hours of runtime for a load of 283 watts.

Being a smart UPS, it also has a serial and USB output, which can be used for monitoring, as shown in the attached image. I was also able to write a script to close my program and shut down the workstation at 20% battery charge using apcupsd.

For shipping, I have the original box. The buyer needs to bear all shipping costs.

what is the capacity of the batter did you use? to get 2hr backup

EDIT: I see, 42ah battery

2x 12V 42Ah. It supports upto 120Ah for even more backup time...

I am attaching pics of the accessories that will be included with the UPS and how it will be packaged in the box.

Can I ask why is it so expensive without the battery and is the digital meter accurate?

This is a double-conversion online UPS that isolates the connected equipment from the grid. This has benefits such as no switchover time to battery, improved efficiency, and cleaner power to connected equipment. You also get to connect a larger external battery than the standard 9 Ah internal battery, which, apart from providing longer backups, will also last longer and is easy to replace.

I found the digital display to be accurate for the connected load. Even better is tracking parameters like the load and battery voltage using the serial connection.

online UPS. but still price is expensive though.

Price is negotiable. You can PM with your offers.

Just so if you can tell as batteries are continuously charged/discharged as power is ultimately supplied by batteries...how much is the degradation of battery in over a year after continuous use.
I am thinking of getting one for my system but then again contemplating also if i should get a Line Interactive one.

The batteries in an Online UPS are held at a constant float voltage and trickle charged by the UPS to ensure their voltage doesn't drop due to self discharge. Degradation in capacity mainly occurs through power cycling. It depends on 2 factors, depth of discharge and number of cycles. You will find the same problem in a line Interactive UPS also. When sizing your battery you typically don't want it to go below 80% during regular power loss.
