Hyderabad: A former sarpanch from Kondareddypalli village in Nagarkurnool ended his life accusing chief minister A Revanth Reddy's brothers of being responsible for his death. The deceased claimed a govt veterinary hospital was constructed near his house at the behest of CM's brothers, denying him an approach road. P Sai Reddy made the allegations in a suicide note purportedly written by him. Though he blamed the CM's brothers, he didn't write any names, cops said.
"We found a suicide note. We are yet to verify whether it was written by Sai Reddy. A suspicious death case has been registered," a senior district police officer said, adding no case has been registered a gainst the CM's brothers. He added, "A few days ago, the deceased destroyed infrastructure inside the hospital. When authorities objected, he assured he would restore the structure. But later he took the extreme step." BRS MLA Harish Reddy on X asked the CM if he will register a case against his brothers for Sai Reddy's death. tnn
