Berhampur: A history-sheeter allegedly involved in around 25 criminal cases in Ganjam district was found murdered at Bandhaguda under Sheragada police limits Wednesday night. Police on Thursday recovered the body of Ananta Patnaik (30) of Aska from the roadside of the village and sent it for autopsy. The man was suspected to have been beaten to death by some miscreants using stone slabs as severe injury marks were found on his face and head, said IIC, Sheragada police station, Barendra Sial. Police suspected he might have been killed due to previous enmity.
