Ranchi: Ranchi Municipal Corporation (RMC) has initiated extensive cleanliness arrangements at the counting centre in Pandra ahead of the Nov 23 counting exercise here. RMC is also focusing on installing mandatory basic facilities such as mobile toilets, drinking water kiosks among others.
RMC's deputy administrator, Ravindra Kumar, said, "The special cleanliness measures are aimed at maintaining hygiene and ensuring the comfort of all stakeholders involved in the counting process. By addressing these essential needs, the corporation aims to create a well-organized and hygienic environment."
The corporation's preparations include the deployment of six water tankers to provide drinking water to officials, staff and visitors at the counting centre. The organisation will install three mobile toilets at strategic points to address sanitation requirements. Additionally, 24 dustbins will be positioned across the premises to maintain cleanliness and facilitate proper waste management.
"The special cleanliness measures and facilities will be operational throughout the counting day to ensure a smooth, efficient, and comfortable process for all involved", Kumar added further.
