NEW DELHI: A man was murdered after he was repeatedly attacked with a rolling pin in southwest Delhi's Chhawla. Police have arrested the accused. The cops were informed about the incident around 12.15pm on Wednesday.
Upon receiving information about the commotion, police arrived at the scene and found that a group of people broke down the door of a house. Inside, they discovered a man lying in a pool of blood. The injured man was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead.
Police have arrested the accused, Shiv Ram (35), and registered a murder case.
According to police sources, the accused was under the influence of alcohol and was not able to identify the victim. The identity of the deceased, believed to be around 30 years old, is yet to be ascertained.
