NEW DELHI: Power stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:23AM

Voltamp Transformers Ltd.(up 7.35%), Suzlon Energy Ltd.(up 5.00%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(up 5.00%), Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat)Ltd.(up 5.00%), Transformers & Rectifiers(India)Ltd.(up 5.00%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(up 5.00%), Indo Tech Transformers Ltd.(up 5.00%), Reliance Power Ltd.(up 4.99%), Ravindra Energy Ltd.(up 4.91%) and Neueon Towers Ltd.(up 4.86%) were among the top gainers.

JSW Energy Ltd.(down 0.12%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 246.61 points at 23700.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 807.72 points at 78146.73 at around 10:23AM.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.36%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(up 2.78%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.78%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(up 2.7%), Titan Company Ltd.(up 2.4%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.25%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 2.23%), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(up 2.13%), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.92%) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.9%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.06%), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 0.62%), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 0.58%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 0.53%), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 0.15%) and Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.03%) were trading in the red.
