Gaya: Union road and transport minister Nitin Gadkari will be the chief guest at the 22nd annual national seminar on Thursday, which is being held under the joint aegis of the Bihar economic council and the department of economics, Magadh University.
Economists, researchers and experts from different universities will focus on the current scenario of the Indian economy and its challenges, present their views, and discuss topics like India's development journey, economic reforms, rural economy and infrastructure development.
Vice-chancellor prof Shashi Pratap Shahi said, "Information has been received by email from the office of the Union minister that he will attend the seminar as the chief guest."
The objective of the seminar is to bring economic experts from different regions of the country on one platform where they can share their experiences and views in different sessions through special presentations and give suggestions for improving economic policies.
