Kanpur: A major fire broke out at a vehicle showroom located in the Fazalganj police station jurisdiction on Tuesday morning. The fire brigade extinguished the inferno after considerable efforts.
On Tuesday morning, the incident occurred in Darshan Purwa. Showroom staff discovered smoke whilst opening the showroom and swiftly vacated the premises. Following the notification, ten fire tenders reached the location. The firefighting crews gained control of the situation after a two-hour operation.
The blaze caused substantial damage to the showroom's back office, accessories section, computers, furniture, and various other items. Fire official said, "The prompt response from firefighters helped salvage 15 vehicles from destruction."The police are conducting damage assessment.
