Any experience/feedback on Babaocamachine.com? (aka Baba Tools)

Hey guys,
I am planning to buy a Variable Bench Power Supply and a Multimeter. That site provides the best price so far. I wonder if they actually deliver products as described/shown on their website? Their android app has only 2.9 star rating but they don't seem to be a complete fraud company either as they seem to even have their own brand of machines and multimeters too.

As far as I know, they are based in Delhi. I am a bit worried about buying from them but their price is too good to pass.

Can anyone give feedback or suggest an alternative website? Thanks
 
seems legit to me since they have an offline store with several reviews
 
As far as I can tell, they're one of the larger importers of repair tools. I ordered a soldering station from them last year, they shipped out in two days with DTDC. The prices are really good compared to other reputable places like G2Mark.

Thanks for the feedback, I have multiple concerns about them :
1. They are charging xxx amount for COD ( I think based on the order amount ), not the COD charge but some kind of deposit which is not refundable in any way.
2. According to their "teAms and conditions", if for any reason an order already made is cancelled, the money goes to the customer's Baba e-wallet or something (their version of amazon pay balance)
3. According to reviews, they do not even have a cancel order option on the website itself.
4. I also saw reviews that the item they received are not similar to the item they ordered.
5. Link to their out of stock policy gives error 404.

What was the approx price of the soldering station you bought (out of curiosity)? I am planning to buy a Bench PSU which costs around 3200 which is then reduced to around 2700 something (discount) upon checking out. None of the other websites offers them at less than 3500.

EDIT : I will just order the machine for now and see how it goes. If it goes well, I will buy the others next time.

Yes, i have ordered many items since then. No complaints with the shop, I just whatsapp them if I need some modifications with order etc.

Only thing I still do not like about them is their baba wallet. I fortunately still do not have to return anything yet though.
 
Just to add my experience with these folks. Apparently some of the products that they have listed as available may not be in stock so better to contact them and ask before placing the order.
They sat on my order for a week and after repeated chasers on their WhatsApp contact ( thanks @Hachune ), it is now only they are admitting that they do not have it in stock. All this time they were just stalling. I have asked for a refund as they cannot fulfill the order. They did promise a refund to the original payment mode so now waiting for that.

Not yet, only today they cancelled the order and told me that it will take 6-7 days max.
I would suggest asking them about stock availability before placing the order. Also see if COD is an option.
 
I once order bunch of stuff from babaocamachine, in which there was a 5 litre bottle of IPA, upon delivery I noticed that bottle was cracked and leaking, only 2 litre was left, I contacted on whatsapp and they guy said send video of unboxing and I was like I didn't make it cause I expected everything to be okay, how would I know that the product inside is leaking, and he kept on saying no refund if no video.

So make unboxing video of what ever you order, you never know.

There is this guy on instagram named price_partfixits which have all the tools/equipment, I never bought anything from him, seems legit, will order from there next time.
 
It is a genuine site. I got my order refunded once due to unavailability. Have ordered some tools from them. Pricing is also really good.
Babaocamachine, akinfo, g2mark are good sites for mobile repairing. There are many more but I haven't ordered from them.
No idea about their replacement, warranty claim, etc.

Just to add something for G2mark. I once ordered multiple items from them. One item came with a cracked plastic container. I don't remember if it was a flux or solder paste and large portion of the contents leaked. I complained it to them on whatsapp, they did reply me at first and then proceed to ghost me. I have been avoiding them since then.

Yeah, it looks like they changed their e-commerce platform and got a new domain, babatools.com

I always messed up typing out babaocamachine, ha

Any idea about hstools? It says sk telecom before opening the site. There's also markersbazar, nhncart So where can I get stuff for graphics cards and motherboard repair (resistor book,bga, stencil) as most of the trusted sites like babatools and g2mark are geared towards mobile repair
 
I haven't tried any of those, and I don't know anyone else who has. Maybe other members have some experience and will reply.

I used to import anything I needed via AliExpress now it's pain in the butt
 
Have ordered from hnhcart before. If they don't have stock, they don't tell you earlier and wait weeks. But order was delivered
