New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia has announced that all its students, including those enrolled in its affiliated schools, will attend online classes until Nov 23 due to the worsening air quality in Delhi.
This move follows similar decisions by other major educational institutions in the capital. Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) had previously shifted to online classes until Nov 22, while Delhi University (DU) also suspended in-person classes until Nov 23.
Despite the shift to virtual learning, all universities have clarified that the schedules for examinations and interviews will proceed as planned and remain unaffected by the transition to online education. DU and Jamia are set to resume classes on Nov 25.
