Hyderabad: Telangana BJP chief and Union coal minister G Kishan Reddy on Monday said that he is not a slave to any individual but a slave to India and a slave to Gujarat, the land of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who protected Telangana.
Speaking at ameeting on the outskirts of Hyderabad, he said: "Congress is synonymous with lies. The chief minister is speaking about being a ‘slave of Gujarat.' I am not a slave to anyone, but only to Indians. I am a slave to Gujarat where, Mahatma Gandhi who played a key role in the independence struggle, was born."
Kishan was responding to Revanth's statement that he (Kishan) is a slave to Gujarat (implying PM Modi). "I am not a slave to a fake Gandhi family like you. You are a slave to Italy, to the leaders who came from Italy and divided India." tnn
