Varanasi: The three-day national conference and alumni meet organised by the Extension Education Department of the Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, concluded on Sunday. Around 200 scientists, professors, bankers, progressive entrepreneurs and students of agricultural extension from across the country participated. Chief guest at the inaugural session, IPS, Commandant of the 36th Battalion, Ramnagar, Varanasi, Anil Kumar Pandey, encouraged promotion of sustainable agricultural development, seed and water conservation and dissemination of science.
