Kota: A 42-year-old faculty member of a coaching institute died during treatment at a private hospital in Kota early Sunday following a suicide bid by hanging in his flat at Landmark City under Kunhari police station Thursday night.
Hemant Choudhary was rushed to hospital after he took the drastic step, whose motive is yet to be ascertained as no suicide note was recovered, said police. He allegedly hanged himself from the ceiling fan in his flat with a chunni. His family members rushed him to hospital, said Arvind Bhardwaj, circle inspector at Kunhari police station. The body was handed over after post-mortem on Sunday. "Family tension is believed to be the cause behind the extreme step," said a police official. tnn
