News agency ANI shared drone visuals from several parts of the city, showing a blanket of smog covering the national capital. Stage IV of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) has been implemented in Delhi-NCR.

Most parts of the city reported high AQI levels, while, residents also complained of difficulty in breathing and irritation in the eyes.
According to CPCB data, Anand Vihar recorded an AQI of 487, Bawana 495, Dwarka Sector 8 500, Mundka 495, Alipur 478, Burari Crossing 463, Lodhi Road 478, RK Puram 477 and Wazirpur 492 -- all in the 'severe' category.
The AQI falling under the 'severe' category can affect healthy people and seriously impact those with existing diseases. According to the CPCB, the air quality index from 0 to 50 is considered 'good,' 51 to 100 is considered 'satisfactory,' 101 to 200 is 'moderate,' 201 to 300 is 'poor,' 301 to 400 is 'very poor,' and from 401 to 500 is under the 'severe' category.
A toxic foam was seen floating on the surface of the Yamuna River in Delhi's Kalindi Kunj.
The Regional Meteorological Centre, New Delhi, predicted mainly clear skies over the city, followed by smog and moderate to dense fog likely in the morning and smog or shallow fog likely in the evening and night. The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 27 and 14 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The weather forecast department stated that there has been a slight fall in maximum temperatures over Delhi/NCR during the past 24 hours. The maximum temperature was above normal by 1°C and the minimum temperature was above normal by 4°C over most places.
Dense fog was reported at Palam airport during night hours, and the lowest visibility was at 100 m at 1 AM and continued up to 8 AM. Safdarjung Airport recorded the lowest visibility of 150 m at 11:10 PM and continued up to 3 AM.
Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) warned passengers of low visibility. "Low visibility procedures are in progress at Delhi Airport. All flight operations are presently normal. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information," it wrote on X.

More than 370 flights were delayed at the Delhi airport today till 2 PM due to dense fog and pollution. Flightradar24 data revealed that about 110 arrivals and 269 departures were delayed till 2 PM.
Earlier, IndiGo advised passengers of potential flight delays due to slower operations in the fog. On X, it wrote, "6ETravelAdvisory: Fog is currently affecting visibility in Delhi, which may result in slow-moving traffic and delays in flight schedules. We recommend allowing extra travel time and checking flight status before starting your journey. Safe travels!"

On Sunday, Chief Minister Atishi announced that physical classes shall be discontinued for all students, apart from classes 10 and 12. "With the imposition of GRAP-4 from tomorrow, physical classes shall be discontinued for all students, apart from Class 10 and 12. All schools will hold online classes until further orders," CM Atishi wrote on X.
