Dipesh Mhatre, Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate, presented a development manifesto for the Dombivli assembly. The manifesto proposed a redevelopment of the KDMC building, a new business center, and a government hospital. It also included plans for a Vedic school, a senior care center, and solutions for traffic congestion.
KALYAN: Dipesh Mhatre, the candidate from Shiv Sena (UBT) of Mahavikas Aghadi, unveiled a manifesto for the comprehensive development of the Dombivli assembly. The manifesto was released in the presence of Mahavikas Aghadi party workers.
The manifesto highlighted various issues, including the Ramabhau Kapase Administrative Building. It proposed the redevelopment of the currently unsafe Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) building in Dombivli East to establish an integrated administrative complex housing all essential services under one roof.
This project, to be named in memory of Ramabhau Kapase, aims to become a model administrative centre in the state.
The manifesto promises to set up the Balasaheb Thackeray Business Center on 350 acres of land situated in the commercial zone of the railway near Thakurli railway station.
Recognising the growing need for local employment, the manifesto pledges the creation of 100,000 new jobs through a business centre that will provide opportunities for IT and various industries.
To provide quality healthcare services, a fully equipped govt hospital will be constructed in Dombivli. Mhatre, through the manifesto, also promised to solve traffic problems, improve roads, and provide parking solutions.
With the importance of Vedic teachings in Hindu culture, the manifesto includes plans to establish a Vedic school in Dombivli. Additionally, a special senior care centre and a 24x7 helpline for elderly assistance will be set up.
