Bokaro: In a bid to enhance voter participation, the administration set up 37 pardanasheen, 24 women-managed, and six youth-managed polling booths. Also 15 unique theme-based polling stations are being set up across the district, said DC Jadhav Vijaya Narayan Rao. Pardanasheen booths cater to women voters wearing burqas. The booths are being established across all four assembly constituencies — Gomia, Bermo, Bokaro, and Chandankyari.
