Another 20 dengue cases were reported in the district on Saturday. The fresh cases registered at community health centres (CHCs) include six cases from Indiranagar, five from chandernagar, four from Aliganj, two from Tudiyaganj, and one each from Aishbagh, Mall and BKT.
So far, the district has reported 2,490 dengue and 479 malaria cases since Jan, 2024.
Meanwhile, around 2,489 houses and surrounding areas were surveyed for mosquito-breeding conditions, while health teams sprayed larvicidal chemicals at various locations.
