New Delhi: A 42-year-old man was murdered after he objected to the abusive behaviour of his neighbour in the Bhalswa Dairy area on Wednesday. Police have arrested the accused.
The accused, identified as Dheeraj, first attacked the man with an iron rod on the head and then pushed him, causing the neighbour to fall down the stairs.
Police received a PCR call on Wednesday. The caller informed them that a neighbour attacked his uncle on the head with a stick and pushed him from the stairs, resulting in his death. Upon reaching the spot, the police identified the deceased as Ran Singh. The victim's family told the police that the accused, Dheeraj, used to abuse and beat his wife. The police registered a murder case against the accused and arrested him after conducting raids at his possible hideouts. TNN
