Udupi: CEN police arrested three persons for the possession of ganja. The arrested are Satyaraj alias Tambi Anna,32, Krishna,43, and Shakilesh,25, from Uppoor in Bramhavar.
A team led by CEN inspector Ramchandra Naik conducted a raid near KG Cross Road in Uppoor on Friday, and arrested the accused. The accused allegedly brought ganja from Mumbai. Police seized ganja weighing 10 kg 138 grams, valued at Rs 8.1 lakh, Rs 1,570 in cash, and three mobile phones. The total value of the seized items is Rs 8.4 lakh. A case was registered under sections 8(C) and 20(b)(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act.
