A video capturing a woman's verbal and physical altercation with an autorickshaw driver on Sarjapura Main Road, Bengaluru has gone viral. The dispute was sparked by the woman allegedly booking two autorickshaws simultaneously through an app and cancelling one, prompting the driver's questioning.
BENGALURU: A video showing a woman abusing and fighting with an autorickshaw driver, who questioned her for booking two autos on her app at a time and cancelling one of them, went viral on social media. The incident is said to have taken place on Sarjapura Main Road.

The Bengaluru city police requested the person who uploaded the video to share more details, including the contact number of the auto driver. Netizens sought action against the woman, stating that many times, passengers book two vehicles for their comfort and cancel one later. This causes a loss to the other driver, who burnt fuel to reach the passenger.
The auto driver confronted a female passenger regarding her alleged practice of booking rides simultaneously on multiple apps and then cancelling them after drivers had arrived. He approached her whilst she was already seated in another auto-rickshaw to question her conduct.
The driver, Pavan Kumar, posted about the incident and tagged Bengaluru City Police and other authorities. He alleged that the woman had booked his auto through Ola but subsequently cancelled it to opt for a Rapido ride instead.
Kumar expressed his displeasure about being made to wait and questioned her treatment of auto drivers.
The woman, however, maintained that she had only booked a single auto after comparing fares across different applications. She firmly denied booking an Ola ride, clarifying that she had merely checked the prices on the platform.
