India's Kirti Kisan Union has condemned Israel's actions against Palestinians, calling it genocide. The group met with Palestinian diplomats in Delhi, offering financial aid and urging a permanent truce. They compared the situation to the suffering of Jews during World War II and Sikhs during India's partition, urging global action for peace and support for the Palestinian people.
BATHINDA: Kirti Kisan Union which is affiliated to All India Kisan Mazdoor Sabha (AIKMS) has described the killing of the Palestinians by Israel as genocide and a dark chapter in the history of human civilization.
Aiming to show solidarity with Palestinians, a delegation of KKU on Thursday met Abed Abu Jazer, chargé d’affaires of Palestine embassy in India at Delhi and responding to the humanitarian crisis presented him financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh.
The organization raised its voice in favor of permanent truce and demanded from the United Nations to find a sustainable solution to the issue of Palestine.
The KKU delegation included president Nirbhai Singh Dhudike, general secretary Rajinder Singh Deep Singh Wala, press secretary Raminder Singh Patiala, vice president Jatinder Singh Chhina and treasurer Jaswinder Singh Jhabelwali.
They said that the most terrible genocide in the history of human civilization is being carried out by Israel under the incitement of major powers like the US in which so far thousands of people have lost their lives.
The stark images of children, old men and women and the ruins of the disaster tell a tale of heart-wrenching atrocities. People have been deprived of basic necessities like food, water, electricity and medicine.
At such a time UN had to appeal to send humanitarian aid. Peace-loving, pain-sensitive and justice-loving people from all over the world are raising their voices against this oppression and demanding an immediate truce.
Farmer leaders said that Israel prime minister Netanyahu Benjamin should remember that during the World War-II, the Jews suffered the terrible tragedy of genocide under Hitler's fascist campaign, today they are doing the same kind of oppression to the Palestinians.
KKU leaders said that the terrible oppression of the Palestinian people has reminded Punjab, especially the Sikhs, the past atrocities of medieval history, partition and 1984.
Due to which Punjabis, especially the Sikhs can deeply feel the pain of Palestinian people. Farmer leaders urged the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and justice-loving organizations and institutions to come forward to help the Palestinians who are passing through the terrible times.
