Rajkot: A kidnapping case has been registered at Madhapar police station under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita following the disappearance of two students from Muhammad Alfiya Madrasa in Nana Varnora, Bhuj taluka. The complainant, Salim Kumbhar, a 48-year-old Bhuj resident, reported that his 15-year-old son and his son's 14-year-old classmate went missing from the madrasa premises around 2pm on Nov 9. Despite an extensive search, the students remain unaccounted for. The complaint suggests that an unidentified individual has taken the boys from their legal custody.
Police officials have confirmed that the students had left the madrasa premises stating they were going for refreshments, but did not return. Madhapar police have launched a search operation.
