Ahmedabad: In the fourth round of admissions for undergraduate ayurveda and homeopathy courses, the admission committee allocated 499 vacant seats based on student preferences. Following Thursday's fee payment deadline, 143 seats remained vacant across the two disciplines.
These positions will be offered to candidates on the waiting list and those who became eligible following the revised requirements.
The vacant seats include 84 in ayurveda and 59 in homeopathy. As of Thursday, 3,326 students received placements out of 3,410 ayurveda seats. In homeopathy, 4,225 positions were filled out of the available 4,284 seats, with 59 remaining vacant. Of the total 7,694 seats across both courses, 7,551 students secured admission.
About 400 students who submitted preferences but did not receive placements are eligible for the vacant seats. If seats remain unfilled, the committee will conduct registration and allocation for candidates who qualify under the recently lowered NEET eligibility standards.
