Bathinda: Punjab State Ministerial Services Union (PSMSU) held a state-level rally against AAP-led Punjab govt at the Barnala district administrative complex on Wednesday.
The PSMSU members from across Punjab travelled to Barnala. They accused the state govt of sitting over various demands, including old pension scheme (OPS) for those appointed after 2004, release of various installments of pending dearness allowance (DA) and assured career promotion.
The union had chalked out plans to hold protests at all four places where byelections are to be held on Nov 20.
PSMSU state president Amrik Singh Sandhu and general secretary Pipal Singh said that the state govt has forgotten all promises made with employees. “The employees will teach this govt a lesson in the byelections and the next assembly elections,” he said. TNN
