Thiruvananthapuram: Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan will present the Kerala Bhasha Institute's academic awards at an event to be held at Vyloppilly Samskrithi Bhavan at 3.30 pm on Friday.
He will also launch the institute's web portal.
N V Krishna Warrier memorial academic award winner P N Gopikrishnan and M P Kumaran memorial translation award winner S Shanthi will receive a prize of Rs one lakh each on the occasion.
K M George memorial research award for the best research paper will be received by T Tasleem.
