Nagpur: Butibori Manufacturers Association (BMA) in coordination with Nagpur district administration, conducted a voter awareness programme at MK Goel Auditorium in BMA Udyam. The Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme was attended by chief guest and Zilla Parishad CEO Vinayak Mahamuni (IAS), general manager of DIC Shivkumar Muddemwar, RO of MIDC Manohar Pote and Varsha Gaurkar.
Mahamuni exhorted the factory owners and managers to ensure that all the staff working of their factory cast their vote in the November 20 elections. "Also, all factory workers should ensure that their family members must exercise their right to vote," he said.
The voter awareness programme was organised under the leadership of BMA president Kishor Malviya, patron Pradeep Khandelwal, secretary Shashi Agarwal, and treasurer Abhijeet Mandavgan. The programme was attended by more than 100 representatives of Butibori industries. Representatives vowed that maximum voting will be ensured in the area.
BMA executive committee members Hitesh Agrawal, Saurabh Agrawal, Ruchir Gupta, Ravi Agrawal, Ishaan Goel, Debashish Sharma, Nitin Gujjelwar, Jeevan Ghime, Prashant Meshram, Ajay Gupta, and Manish Gupta also attended and co-ordinated the programme.
