Ludhiana: Unidentified miscreants allegedly attacked a man and robbed him of Rs 8 lakh while he was on his way after withdrawing money from a bank in the Khanna area on Monday afternoon. Arshdeep Singh of Gobindgarh and an employee of a rice trader told police that he had withdrawn cash from a bank branch in Bardhala village and was returning to work in Mandi Gobindgarh on motorcycle when miscreants came on an auto-rickshaw and ran away with the money after hitting him on the head. Arshdeep was found unconscious in front of a brick kiln. tnn
