UDUPI: A 65-year-old woman, identified as Sushila, died after falling from a motorcycle driven by her son, in Udipi, Karnataka, on Monday.
The incident occurred around 1 pm on Sunday on Alevoor-Rampur Road near Subodhini School.
Sushila was admitted to a hospital in Manipal but passed away from her injuries.
According to the police, her son, Anil was riding the bike with Sushila as the pillion rider when they hit a speed hump. The impact caused Sushila to lose her balance and fall, sustaining severe head injuries.
A case has been registered at the Manipal police station.
