New Delhi, November 12: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has emerged as the successful bidder in a major contract of NTPC Ltd. for the establishment of the main plant package of the 3×800 MW Telangana Stage-II supercritical thermal power plant.
Under the contract, BHEL’s scope of work includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, commissioning, and civil construction. Presently, BHEL has received a Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) from NTPC Ltd. for initiating the basic engineering work of the main plant package for this upcoming supercritical thermal power plant.
This project further strengthens BHEL’s enduring partnership with NTPC, where BHEL has contributed over 57% of NTPC’s thermal power installations nationwide.
As India’s foremost power equipment manufacturer, with over 1,68,000 MW of utility power capacity installed across the country, BHEL continues to play a pivotal role in bolstering India’s energy security and supporting the vision of self-reliance in the power sector.

नई दिल्ली, 12 नवंबर: भारत हेवी इलेक्ट्रिकल्स लिमिटेड (बीएचईएल), एनटीपीसी लिमिटेड के तेलंगाना स्टेज- II सुपरक्रिटिकल थर्मल पावर प्लांट (3x800 मेगावाट) के मुख्य संयंत्र पैकेज की स्थापना के अनुबंध में सफल बोलीदाता के रूप में उभरा है।
इस अनुबंध के तहत, बीएचईएल के कार्य क्षेत्र में डिजाइन, इंजीनियरिंग, विनिर्माण, आपूर्ति, निर्माण, कमीशनिंग और सिविल निर्माण शामिल हैं। वर्तमान में, बीएचईएल को इस सुपरक्रिटिकल थर्मल पावर प्लांट के लिए मुख्य संयंत्र पैकेज के बुनियादी इंजीनियरिंग कार्य शुरू करने के लिए एनटीपीसी लिमिटेड से आगे बढ़ने के लिए सीमित नोटिस (एलएनटीपी) प्राप्त हुआ है।
यह परियोजना एनटीपीसी के साथ बीएचईएल की साझेदारी को और मज़बूत करती है, जहां बीएचईएल ने देश भर में एनटीपीसी के थर्मल पावर परियोजनाओं में 57% से अधिक का योगदान दिया है।
