Ahmedabad: Winter is still playing hard to get, with temperatures remaining unusually high for this time of year, leaving residents to deal with summer-like heat.
On Monday, the minimum temperature was 20.4 degrees celsius, which is 2.3 degrees higher than the seasonal average.
However, some relief seems to be in sight as the minimum temperature has been on a slight downward trend over the past 3-4 days.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a dip to around 20 degrees on Tuesday.
The IMD noted a maximum temperature of 36.5 degrees celsius on Monday, 2.5 degrees above normal.
Northerly and northeasterly winds are expected to continue in the region, with no major changes in minimum temperatures anticipated for the next four-five days.
