La Martiniere College defeated AR Jaipuria School 2-0, claiming the championship trophy in the four-day Jagdish Gandhi Memorial Inter-School Football Tournament which concluded on Sunday. The tournament was organized by City Montessori School, Gomtinagar Campus I at Chowk Stadium in Lucknow. Earlier, in the match for third place, Delhi Public School, Jankipuram defeated CMS Kanpur Road Campus 2-0. At the closing ceremony, CMS President Prof. Roger David Kingdon honored the young players with awards.
