Nagpur: The Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), is hosting the 3rd International Conference on Paradigm Shifts in Communication, Embedded Systems, Machine Learning, and Signal Processing (PCEMS 2024) on November 11-12. Organised by department of electronics and communication engineering, the conference brings together leading experts, researchers, and industry leaders from around the world to explore innovations and advancements across multiple fields in technology and engineering.
PCEMS 2024 has attracted participation, with 152 paper submissions, reviewed rigorously by a panel of 300 experts. A total of 125 high-quality research articles were accepted, 74 of which have been scheduled for oral presentations in 15 technical sessions. Topics span a variety of cutting-edge fields, including artificial intelligence, deep learning, medical image processing, and embedded systems.
An array of insightful keynote speeches is lined up over the two-day conference. Distinguished speakers include Padma Shri Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay, director of the Indian Statistical Institute in Kolkata, will speak on ‘Artificial Intelligence: Evolution and Current Trends'. Other notable speakers include Petia Ivanova Radeva from University of Barcelona, R Venkatesh Babu from Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, and Robert W Heath from University of California, San Diego, who will discuss advancements in 6G technology.
In addition to paper presentations, the conference will feature four specialised tutorials on machine learning, signal processing, IoT, and medical imaging. (Reporting by Tanisha Jaiswal)
