Jaipur: The Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage has officially named the stretch between Panch Batti crossing to Singhdwar Marg as Mata Leelawanti Marg.
JMC Heritage mayor Kusum Yadav officially inaugurated a plaque bearing the new name of the road on Saturday.
"On the demand of the general public, the proposal to name this road was passed unanimously in the general assembly meeting of Heritage Corporation. On Saturday, we installed the plaque and officially named this stretch as Mata Leelawanti Marg," said Kusum Yadav.
There is also a Mata Leelawanti Bhawan at Singh Dwar, where satsang and other events have been organised for the last 50 years.
