Ludhiana: A youth died from an electric shock in Anand Nagar, Khanna. The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Montu Kumar, originally from Samastipur district in Bihar, who worked in Haryana. Montu and his wife had come to Khanna two days ago to visit relatives for Chhath puja and birthday celebrations. Montu was going to the roof of the house with sugarcane brought for the puja when the sugarcane touched the 66 KV electricity wires passing above. TNN
