Amaran has been doing well in theaters since its October 31, 2024 with Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role with Sai Pallavi. In a recent interview with Suma on YouWe Media, SK disclosed that the last climactic sequence from Amaran was difficult for him to film because it mirrored the loss of his own father.
The actor stated, “A tough scene for me was shooting inside the ambulance during the climax. This was because exactly the same thing happened to my dad. He also expired while he was doing his duty. His last moments were inside the ambulance, and we were not with him.”
The actor also talked about how he couldn’t tell anyone the details of the sequence because he couldn’t control himself when reading the screenplay. He continued by saying that during the scene’s filming, he thought his father was with him. The film narrated the heroic story of the soldier who, up until his last assignment in a counterterrorism operation, gave his life in defense of the nation.
