Thane, 9th November 2024: The District Information Office in Thane, Maharashtra, has launched a digital flip-book designed as a comprehensive resource for both media professionals and citizens ahead of the November 20 assembly elections.

Titled “Assembly General Election 2024 Backgrounder,” the flip book was introduced by Ashok Shingare, the Collector and District Election Officer, at his office on Friday.

The flip book offers detailed historical voting statistics and candidate information for Thane constituencies, covering elections from 1962 to 2019. The initiative was led by Shivaji Sanap, Thane District Information Officer.

Shingare highlighted that the digital flip book is an important tool for understanding the district’s electoral history and emphasized its role in promoting eco-friendly information distribution.
