Lucknow: A rape accused threatened the survivor that he would rape her again if she did not withdraw her complaint in Lucknow's Thakurganj. He also threatened to kill her and her parents.
The survivor from Thakurganj had filed a rape case against the accused, Lalit Gautam of Ahirankheda Roshanabad Colony Balaganj, at Para police station on July 6. Police had arrested Lalit and sent him to jail. Lalit came out on bail on Oct 1.
In her recent complaint, the survivor said that after getting bail, Lalit started pressuring her to withdraw the rape case after he got her contact number. He threatened to rape her and kill her and her parents too. She suspected that some policemen helped him in getting her contact number.
SHO Thakurganj, Shrikant Rai told TOI that a case has been registered and a search was on for the accused. TNN
