Cop suspended

Jhansi: Constable DK Yadav was suspended on Friday for causing disturbance at Semri toll plaza in Chirgaon police station area on Thursday. A video which went viral showed him verbally abusing his superiors and civilians under the influence of alcohol,
SP (rural) Gopinath Soni confirmed that CO Moth conducted an investigation against the constable. Following the inquiry report, SSP Jhansi Sudha Singh issued the suspension order against the accused constable.
In a separate incident, two sub-inspectors were assaulted by villagers while investigating a complaint in an area under Raksa police station area. tnn
