Koderma: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three individuals while she was collecting mica scrap in a forest area. The incident took place on Monday around noon when the survivor had ventured into the nearby forest with her 17-year-old cousin.
Following the girl's complaint on Thursday, police arrested the accused and remanded them in judicial custody. The arrested individuals were identified as Rohit Kumar, Chandan Rajwar and Roshan Kumar, all residents of Dibaur.
In her police statement, the girl reported that the trio ambushed them, restrained her cousin by tying him to a tree and raped her. She stated that the perpetrators physically assaulted them severely and threatened to kill her if she disclosed the incident.
A police officer confirmed that all three accused were arrested and sent to jail based on the survivor's complaint.
