Nagpur: Asif Shaukat Qureshi has been appointed as general secretary of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) under the guidance of Maharashtra in-charge Ramesh Chennithala and state president Nana Patole.
Expressing gratitude for the support of party leaders and well-wishers, Qureshi said he is committed to advancing the Congress party's vision and addressing the needs of Maharashtra's citizens. He is looking forward to working collaboratively to champion justice, unity, and sustainable development for Maharashtra's future. In this role, he will focus on strengthening the party's presence across the state, particularly in Vidarbha, Nagpur, and surrounding areas.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Nana Patole, and others for their invaluable support and guidance.
