Bokaro: Food delivery personnel participated in a motorcycle rally on Friday with an aim to encourage local residents to cast their votes on November 20. "These riders will distribute stickers along with their food deliveries, encouraging customers to fulfil their democratic duty," said Jadhav Vijaya Narayan Rao, DC, Bokaro.
District collector Mohammad Mumtaz Ansari addressed the low voter turnout in the district whilst discussing ongoing efforts to enhance participation. The initiative, which involved delivery personnel operating in Bokaro's urban regions, formed part of these endeavours.
Rally participants displayed placards featuring messages like "Everyone must vote" and "We are the voters of India, let's come together for 100% voting."
Sweep nodal officers also guided participants through a voter's pledge, strengthening their commitment to voting and promoting electoral awareness in their localities. "This initiative, featuring collaborative efforts and engaging slogans, aims to energise voters and increase turnout for the upcoming elections," said Prabhas Dutta, a returning officer.
