Prayagraj: A joint team of Thariyaon police and SOG of Fatehpur police on Thursday arrested four robbers who had allegedly looted cash and mobile from a man recently.
Police also recovered Rs 81,410 cash, one countrymade pistol of 0.315 bore along with two live cartridges, one car, two phones and a diary from their possession.
Those arrested were Mohd Mehtab (22), Toaif Khan (19), Sandeep Kumar Verma (19), and Arbaaz (20), all residents of Pratapgarh.
These car-borne robbers looted Rs 1.56 lakh cash and a mobile from a man at gunpoint on the Kanpur-Prayagraj highway on Nov 6.
An FIR was lodged under appropriate sections of BNS.
