Hey. I am looking to buy a gaming laptop which can double as a workstation.

it has been some time since I caught up with the recent trends in CPUs and GPUs.

All I know is that Asus is facing flak for poor after sales service. People are not particularly satisfied with MSI and Acer either.

Size preference: 15.6inches
CPU: Either is fine (Intel or AMD)
GPU: No preference, should be able to run modern AAA at medium to high settings at 60FPS At FHD.
RAM: 16GB Minimum
Storage: SSD 1TB preferred.

Hey. Thank you.

Any recommendation in Intel chips?

On a similar note is 13th Gen really that bad for laptops? (I remember Gamer Nexus episode criticising poor desktop 13th Gen CPUs of Intel.

Why do you want Intel chips? Any specific reason.

Nothing specific. Just the legacy trust with Intel. A previous AMD laptop was not as good but that was in 2015. And almost all my devices have been Intel before and after that. Just that.

I guessed. That's why I asked. AMD had poor performance previously. In early 2010s they were making APUs. You probably had one of those. Now a days, they are much more efficient and better performers than intel counterparts. Ryzen processors give better battery life than Intel processors while performing almost the same.

Lenovo LOQ with R7 7435HS + 4060 is 80k on FK after CC offer. Spend extra & get extended warranty as well from Lenovo, usually 3k for 2-year extension.
+1 for Lenovo LOQ series. You can check which model fits in your budget.
