Hyderabad: Telangana govt-led T-Hub has joined hands with Japanese automotive tech giant Denso to work with innovative Indian automotive startups through T-Hub's T-Connect platform. The collaboration aims to generate ideas, tackle complex challenges, and focus on developing next-gen intelligent automotive tech solutions.
As part of the collaboration, Denso will participate in T-Hub's mentorship programmes with its leadership team sharing insights on global auto industry trends while gaining fresh perspectives from Indian startups working on innovative solutions.
The partnership will also see Denso take part in CXO roundtables and panel discussions with key industry figures. These discussions will explore technology trends, sustainable practices, and collaborative strategies to drive the Indian automotive market forward, according to T-Hub. Denso will also sponsor T-Hub-led hackathons and innovation challenges focused on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, ADAS, electrification, and V2X communication.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the collaboration was signed in the presence of Telangana industries & IT minister D Sridhar Babu and Denso's India region CEO Yasuhiro Iida.
"Telangana is swiftly emerging as a key player in India's automotive industry, backed by substantial investments and a robust, innovation-driven ecosystem. The state boasts a strong presence of automotive design, semiconductor, and sensor engineering companies, which are vital for fostering the growth of the automotive industry," Sridhar Babu said.
"With companies like Mahindra and Mahindra, Bharat Forge, Exide, and Amara Raja Batteries establishing advanced manufacturing facilities, we are transforming Telangana into a hub for both traditional automotive components and cutting-edge electric vehicle technologies. Denso's recent partnership with T-Hub stands as a significant milestone in this journey, reaffirming Telangana's commitment to becoming a leading centre for automotive and sustainable technology innovation," he added.
Iida said the collaboration will see Denso engage with Indian startups that align with the company's vision of sustainable and intelligent mobility and offer them access to R&D resources and technical expertise to help them scale up.
"This collaboration aims to deliver impactful solutions for India, positioning the country as a leader in advanced automotive technologies," Iida said.
