Mysuru: A day after the couple Monisha and Kumar allegedly ended their lives by suicide, Varuna police have booked over a dozen residents of Kemapaiahana Hundi on charges of abetting their suicide.
Monisha and Kumar, both farmers, took the drastic step, leaving a death note accusing the family members of Kambaiah of being responsible on Tuesday. The accused allegedly humiliated the couple over the death of another villager, Nagesh, a few weeks previously, police said.
The couple leave behind two children.
