Hisar: An eight-month-old baby girl, sleeping in a swing in the courtyard of her house in Hamzapur village of Fatehabad district, was mauled by a stray dog on Monday, leading to her death.
In his statement, Niharika’s father Balvindra, a vegetable vendor, said that around 2pm on Monday, his wife Poonam informed him that Niharika was sleeping inside the house, when a stray dog entered the house and bit her on the face, neck and other places. “We took to a govt hospital at Ratia, and then to Agroha Medical College, but doctors declared her brought dead, he said.
