NEW DELHI: Mining stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:53AM

KIOCL Ltd.(up 5.67%), Lexus Granito(India)Ltd.(up 3.70%), Ashapura Minechem Ltd.(up 3.07%), Madhav Marbles & Granites Ltd.(up 2.69%), Pokarna Ltd.(up 2.44%), NMDC Ltd.(up 2.04%), Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd.(up 1.67%), Aro Granite Industries Ltd.(up 1.10%), MOIL Ltd.(up 1.06%) and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.(up 1.00%) were among the top gainers.

Coal India Ltd.(down 2.78%), Oriental Trimex Ltd.(down 1.95%) and 20 Microns Ltd.(down 1.89%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 0.56 points at 23995.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 25.6 points at 78756.64 at around 10:53AM.

Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 2.38%), JSW Steel Ltd.(up 2.32%), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.27%), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 1.9%), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(up 1.62%), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.51%), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.4%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 1.37%), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.36%) and UltraTech Cement Ltd.(up 0.99%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 3.76%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 3.08%), Coal India Ltd.(down 2.86%), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 2.0%), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.99%), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 1.25%), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.2%), Infosys Ltd.(down 0.88%), ITC Ltd.(down 0.84%) and Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 0.63%) were trading in the red.
